Senior Programme
Tue. August 4th to Sun. August 16th
(2 weeks, 9.00am to 4.30pm, followed by student concert):
All instruments, ages 14 to adult, minimum performance
level Grade 5 or equivalent.
Course Content
- Classes, rehearsals, lessons and student concerts. Students will be prepared for the performance of repertoire appropriate to their individual level of achievement.
- Technique and Repertoire Classes
- Lessons
- Ensembles (orchestra, string, brass, woodwind, percussion, jazz, choir)
- Piano Accompanying.
Note: These guides are approximate. For placement purposes only,
teachers may request to hear a short example of the student's current
performance level (student's choice of repertoire). Appropriate placement
in classes & ensembles is at the discretion of the teacher.
Senior students at a minimum Grade 8 level may be invited, at no extra charge, to attend Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Music rehearsals, along with Pre-Professional students, on Monday, August 3rd.
